Selecting designer furniture
For this high-end Sunshine Coast property, it was essential to accentuate our styling and interior design with key designer furniture pieces. Property stylist Nick Counsell chose feature items from GlobeWest, including the media room sofa, dining table, living room rug, and outdoor area furniture. These pieces truly defined the space and matched the quality of the home’s finishes, creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. Nick opted for a neutral colour palette for the furniture and accessories, complemented by textural cushions and décor to ensure the beauty of the home remained the focal point.
Staging key rooms
For this property, the key room was the open-plan living area. With floor-to-ceiling windows and seamless indoor-outdoor living, this home is sure to captivate buyers. It was crucial to perfect the living room area, demonstrating the scale of each zone and using furniture that complemented the home’s style while being practical and easily envisioned by potential buyers. The media room was another critical space to stage, as it is the first room off the entry. This wide-open area needed to showcase its full potential and optimal layout. We used a comfortable four-seater sofa, an occasional chair, and plenty of accessories to create a cozy atmosphere. An entertainment unit, coffee table, floor lamp, and rug were added to ground the area and enhance its appeal.
